What are Thermoplastic Elastomers:

Thermoplastic elastomers are synthetic rubbers that can be reformed by heat. At room temperature they are solid and elastic but when you heat them above a certain temperature range, they become liquid and can be molded into the desired shape. Most rubbers are not recyclable and cannot be reformed again by heat,  but thermoplastic elastomers are 100% recyclable and any excess rubbers from your mold can be melted back again to form other products.

Another great property of thermoplastic elastomer is their ability to trap oil. The mixing of thermoplastic elastomer and oil results in what is known as elastomer gel. Our thermoplastic elastomer can hold oil as much as 20 times of their own weight. Depending on the resiliency of the resulting gel, it can formulated as vibration dampers, feeding bottle teats, shoe insole, lip balms and medicated gels.
