Elastomer
Gel
Our thermoplastic elastomer resins can be combined with compatible mineral oils to
produce a homogeneous gel whose softness depends on the amount
of mineral oil used. By increasing the amount of mineral oil, the
softness of the gel can be increased but the
tensile strength of the gel will also decrease.
Human tissue simulation - Elastomer oil gels closely approximate
the feel of the human flesh. Our product can be used as a low
cost replacement for ballistic gels. The hardness can be easily
controlled by increasing or decreasing the amount of mineral
oil in the mix.
Shock and Vibration absorption - When mixed with mineral
oil, our thermoplastic elastomer products can be manufactured into custom built
vibration absorption pads. They can be used as shock mountings
or as a resting pad for the hands, buttocks and knees.
Sports Applications
GP77 TPE can be used in the soles of the
shoes as cushioning pads or as friction pads. They can be used
as rubber hand grips for motorcycles and bikes.
Food Containers
The GP78 TPE can be formed as food containers or as launch boxes
because it has an approval from the US Food and Drug Administration. |
